The design principles for this house focus on practicality and simplicity, enhancing the visual effect to create the most spacious feel possible.
What we have done:
Tile the front car porch for easy maintenance.
Install a new privacy slanted gate to prevent passersby from peeking into the house.
Alter the direction of the main door/entrance.
Replace the sliding panel with a full-height glass panel to maximize natural light in the house.
Install fluted panels to conceal the bomb shelter and powder room.
Remove the dry kitchen from the living hall and construct an expanded wet kitchen in the backyard.
Replace the bathroom vanity, mirror, and accessories.
Remove the existing window panel on level 3 and extend it to the planter box to expand the living area.
Level the planter box area outside the bedroom on level 2 and construct a glass-top shelter to create a mini chill-out area with maximize natural light in the house.
Repaint both the interior and exterior of the house.
Perform electrical and plumbing tasks.
